Al-Madina Institute is pleased to announce its first one of a kind seminar entitled “The Portrait of the Prophet.” This will be a two day in-depth look at the wonderful book, “Ash’ Shama’il Muhammadiya,” composed by the great Hadith Scholar Imam Tirmidhi. Imam Tirmidhi’s immense love for the Prophetled him to compose a book that details all sorts of unique aspects of our Prophet’slife. We all know we’re supposed to love the Prophet, but we have to ask ourselves, “How can we love someone we don’t know?” Now is our chance to really get to know the Prophet!

The text will be taught by renowned Hadith scholar, Shaykh Muhammad Bin Yahya Ninowy. He is a descendant of the Noble Prophet Muhammadwho began his studies under his father, Sayyed Yahya. He has memorized the Glorious Qur’an and acquired knowledge in many of the Islamic disciplines, including Aqeedah, Fiqh, Hadith and Ihsaan. Shaykh Ninowy is one of the few dynamic speakers that can easily connect with students to fulfill their thirst for knowledge.

This astounding new course will give you a look at aspects of our beloved Messengerthat are seldom spoken about. It covers, amongst many other subjects, His physical features including: How He looked, Clothing He wore, His favorite foods and along with His moral character, from how He prayed to His intimate dealings with His companions, and family.

Seminar Materials:

No student will walk away from this wonderful course empty-handed. Besides the priceless knowledge of our beloved Prophet, every student will be provided with a copy of the Ash’ Shama’il Muhammadiya text.

Seminar Format:

This will be a Hadith oriented course. We will inshaAllah look at the different narrators of the hadith and share a brief history of the respected narrator and the hadith itself.
