Feeling rundown or agitated? Does your life ever feel empty, even though it seems like you have a million things to do? Does the world seem like an ongoing series of difficulties, corruption and tribulation, without a way out?

The root of all our problems lies within our very hearts. The only remedy therefore is to cure our hearts of the spiritual diseases they harbor, but where, and how, do we begin? In our busy lives, how could we ever learn about even the basics of something as profound and immense as the spiritual heart?

This program should be considered a spiritual retreat, a means by which we can reconnect with the Qur’an. Though not a requirement of the program, we also hope to perform Qiyam-ul-Layl (voluntary night prayers). Students who are dedicated, respectful, and attend with an emphasis on spiritual matters are likely to benefit most from the program.

Classroom is theatre-style seating (no tables).

Are we going to be able to have private time with the scholars?

Al-Madina Institute has an open-door policy with all the scholars. They will not be walking around with bodyguards so feel free to approach them. We do ask that you respect the program session timings and allow the scholars to conduct their scheduled sessions on time.

Can I record the event? Can I sell books and other materials?

No, only authorized individuals can record at this event and no outside vendors will be allowed.
